(VOVworld) – The “Action Month for Environment” was launched on Saturday in Lao Cai province. The event was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Vietnam Veterans Association, the Vietnam Elderly Association, and Lao Cai province’s People Committee.

Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung spoke at the launching ceremony.

Themed “The nature’s desire”, the launching ceremony sends significant message in environmental protection. Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung said at the event: “The event aims to call on the society and the people to join the effort. We should protect the environment with practical activities. I hope that the Politburo, enterprises and the community will actively respond to the effort to protect the environment”.
