Activities held for International Children's Day, Action Month
(VOVWORLD) - On June 1st, Ha Nam province’s steering committee of the national target program for the protection and care of people’s health presented gifts and inspected the organization of the micro-nutrient day in localities.

Ha Nam also organized 139 locations to provide Vitamin A for children from 6 months to 5 years old at high risk of low Vitamin A deficiency.
The same day, Ninh Thuan launched the 2018 Action Month for Children themed “For a safer and healthier life for children in the digital technology era”. During this month, local agencies and social organizations will focus on communications, improving awareness and responsibility for tapping positive impacts and controlling negative influences of digital technology on children’s growth.
In Khanh Hoa, the Festival for Disabled Children was held for 3 days from Thursday. The event drew 600 pupils with disabilities and 200 teachers from 40 schools from Quang Binh to the southernmost province of Ca Mau.
Hau Giang also launched the Action Month for Children, where Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dong Van Thanh asked for increased communications in communities and schools on children’s rights of expression and protection of from abuse.
