(VOVworld) – A mobile film screening week began in Dien Bien province on Monday to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

From April 23 until May 20, Vietnamese films and documentaries featuring revolutionary wars, the revolutionary tradition, and the land and people of Dien Bien will be shown throughout the country. The films will include “Living with history”, “My homeland Dien Bien”, and “Memoirs of Dien Bien”.
An international workshop, entitled about Dien Bien Phu victory and its historical landmark will open next Monday by the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences. The workshop is expected to attract 250 delegates including scholars from Russia, the US, France, Australia, and Laos.
