British Consul General in HCM City Douglas Barnes said: “This is also a centenary year for another important milestone. The 100th anniversary of the arrival in London of President to be, Ho Chi Minh, the blue plank, marks where President Minh is set to have worked at Carlton hotel in London. The years he worked in London laid a deep foundation for our relationship. In recent years, our two countries have strengthened that friendship. We successfully entered the 3rd year of the strategic partnership, an agreement which our two governments signed back in 2010. We can see our relationship grow to a new level with process across comprehensive agenda, which includes business, economics, science, technology, defense, security, culture and education. We are well celebrating the past 40 years as well as looking forward to an ambitious and successful future”

The activities will contribute to the mutual understanding, friendship and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
