AIPA-41 website makes debut in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - A ceremony was held in Hanoi on Thursday to launch an official website, a mobile application, and an identity program for the 41st General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-41).

Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, who is also President of the AIPA-41 General Assembly and Head of the National Steering Committee for the AIPA 41, said the initiatives will help disseminate official information about AIPA and further promote Vietnam to international friends. Ngan said because of complications from the COVID-19 pandemic, the 41st AIPA General Assembly will be held online on September 8 and 9 at the international convention center.
She said: "As AIPA Chair 2020, the Vietnamese NA wants to successfully organise the 41st AIPA General Assembly and related activities. This therefore marks an important event in terms of the foreign affairs for the 14th NA and will contribute to highlighting the country’s State and parliamentary diplomacy. This marks the third time that the NA has taken on the role of AIPA Chair and organised the AIPA General Assembly, thereby demonstrating the role and responsibility of the NA in relation to the AIPA."
