Airports designated to serve flights from RoK’s epidemic-hit areas

(VOVWORLD) - Flights departing from epidemic-hit areas in the Republic of Korea (RoK) will land at designated airports in Vietnam in a move to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, said the Ministry of Transport on Wednesday.

Those airports are Van Don airport in Quang Ninh province, Phu Cat airport in Binh Dinh province, and Can Tho airport in Can Tho city. All passengers on the flights will have to fill out health declaration forms. Vietnamese passengers will have to undergo a 14-day quarantine, the Ministry noted. Airlines are advised to reduce and restrict all flights linking the RoK and Vietnam to help control Covid-19.

Aviation, tourism and goods transport agencies in border regions are requested to strictly follow disease prevention and control measures and closely monitor anyone entering Vietnam via a border gates.
