Alibaba Chairman urged to help boost e-commerce in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked the Alibaba Group to help more Vietnamese people and micro businesses access e-commerce.

Mr. Phuc on Monday received Alibaba Chairman Jack Ma, who came to Vietnam to attend the 3rd Vietnam E-Payment Forum (VEPF) and speak with 3,000 students to inspire entrepreneurship among young people.
Prime Minister Phuc said he wants the Alibaba Group to provide training in e-commerce and the application of successful business models. He also requested that the group help Vietnamese farmers and small and medium-sized businesses to export their products.
Mr. Ma said he will consider establishing a store for Vietnam on Alibaba’s e-commerce app and promised to work with Vietnam on e-commerce development.
