(VOVworld) – Trade ministers from 21 member economies of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum concluded a meeting in the Philippines on Sunday.

After the two-day event, they issued a statement of strong support for the World Trade Organization’s efforts to boost global trade amid a flurry of regional free trade agreements. They vowed to ratify by December a landmark trade deal and to help conclude the long-delayed Doha round of trade negotiations. They will also endorse to their leaders a raft of measures boosting the participation of micro enterprises in global trade.
