(VOVworld) – Voters in Argentina elected half of the 257 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and a third of the 72 seats in the Senate on Sunday. This is the mid-term legislative election of Argentina’s President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. According to analysts, the result will not be very different from a poll which took place on August 11^th. The ruling party Front for Victory and its allies will continue to hold a majority in the parliament but they may not win the most votes in the 5 densest precincts, which include Buenos Aires province and the capital city of Buenos Aires.
