Art program, national exhibition mark 55 years of President HCM’s Testament

(VOVWORLD) - A special program with the theme “The words he left behind” took place in Hanoi on Friday to commemorate 55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament and 55 years since his passing (September 2).

Attendees included General Secretary and President To Lam and many other Party and State leaders.

The program spotlighted Vietnam’s history while affirming the core values and significant contributions of the Testament to the victories of the Vietnamese revolution over the past half-century.

President HCM passed away 55 years ago, but his thought, morality, and sacred Testament continue to be a guiding star for the entire Party, people, and army to pursue the revolutionary cause he devoted his entire life to.

The same day, a national exhibition entitled “President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament - Everlasting Value and Vitality” opened at the Presidential Palace complex in Hanoi.

More than 200 documents, images, and charts give an insight into the life and revolutionary cause of President Ho Chi Minh, the core content and the profound theoretical and practical value of his Testament, and the efforts of the entire Party, army, and people in implementing the Testament over the past 55 years.

The exhibition will run until September 30.
