Art program raises awareness of the AO/dioxin disaster in Vietnam

(VOVWORLD) - A program on Agent Orange/dioxin disaster in Vietnam and efforts to address its consequences took place in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The program included art performances, reports, and exchanges with individuals who have contributed to environmental decontamination and support for AO victims.

The event aimed to raise public awareness of the consequences of AO, Party and State policies to support AO/dioxin victims, and efforts of individuals and organizations here and abroad to alleviate the disaster.

President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin Nguyen Van Rinh promoted the "Action for Agent Orange Victims" movement, which helps victims stabilize their lives and integrate into the community, and called on the US and international organizations to support Vietnam’s decontamination and victim relief efforts.
