ASEAN 2020: Vietnam has turned a crisis into an opportunity for success
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has turned a crisis into an opportunity for success with more than 80 documents adopted at the 37th ASEAN Summit and related summits last week, the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Ambassador to ASEAN Lim Sung-nam said on Wednesday.

The Ambassador told reporters in Jakarta, ASEAN Headquarters, that Vietnam did a very good job, and the summits from November 12 to 15 were a great success in three regards. First, ASEAN, its dialogue partners, and the regional community, pledged to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in a cooperative manner. Second, ASEAN created a blueprint for the post-pandemic economic recovery called the ASEAN Comprehensive Recovery Framework, which was welcomed by the regional community. Third, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, an historic milestone and important framework to boost trade and investment, was signed.
