ASEAN Ambassadors to South Africa hail Vietnam’s preparation for ASEAN Summit
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Hoang Van Loi on Tuesday informed other ASEAN Ambassadors there about Vietnam’s preparations for the 37th ASEAN Summit and related meetings next month.

Loi, who is Chair of the ASEAN Pretoria Committee (APC), promised that Vietnam, as Chair of ASEAN for 2020, is doing its best to ensure the success of the 37th ASEAN Summit, which will include 11 virtual meetings from November 13-15.
All ASEAN Ambassadors in Pretoria agreed that Vietnam has thoroughly prepared logistics for the coming Summit and has actively promoted initiatives it proposed as ASEAN Chair which have contributed to building the ASEAN Community, responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and recovering from the pandemic.
