(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Norway Le Thi Tuyet Mai and other ASEAN countries’ Ambassadors met with Tine Morch Smith, General Director of the Department for Regional Affairs of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry and Oslo Mayor Marianne Borgen, to boost ties between their country and Norway.

Borgen said that since Norway became a partner of ASEAN in August last year and the establishment of a Norway-ASEAN joint committee later the same year, Norway has actively coordinated with the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN countries. Mayor Borgen and Ambassador Mai pledged to promote friendship and people-to-people exchanges between Oslo and Vietnam.
