(VOVworld) – Nearly 140 works of more than 100 ASEAN painters are exhibited at the second ASEAN Graphic Art Competition and Exhibition Vietnam 2016, which opened in Hanoi Wednesday.

The event was held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, in collaboration with the ASEAN countries’ embassies in Vietnam and the Vietnamese embassies in ASEAN countries.
Eleven outstanding works were selected for awards, with first prize going to a carved wood painting by Praween Piangchoompoo from Thailand.
The exhibit, which is held every four years, will continue until next Thursday at the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts.
