(VOVworld) – The ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting (SOM ASEAN) opened in Vientiane, Laos, on Friday, part of the 49^th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM 49) which will take place on Sunday. The Vietnamese delegation is led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung.

At this important event, ASEAN and its partners will review agreements approved last November and prepare an agenda and other documents to be passed at AMM 49 and related meetings.
