ASEAN to enhance consensus to deal with world complications
(VOVWORLD) - ASEAN members have agreed at the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting Retreat (ADMM Retreat) to enhance their consensus and collective strength to deal with impacts of world complications, said Vietnam’s Minister of National Defense General Ngo Xuan Lich.

General Lich hosted a banquet for ADMM Retreat participants in Hanoi on Wednesday. He said ASEAN members have maintained their cohesion and diversification in the past 50 years when they were bound together by cultural identities, responsibilities, and interests of one particular bloc. The ASEAN Political-Security Community has consolidated their solidarity to work for peace and stability - the premise for each member’s development, Minister Lich said.
