(VOVworld) - National Assembly’s Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has urged the audit sector to clarify its legal status to improve its organization thus meeting the demands of the new situation. Mr. Hung was speaking at an online conference in Hanoi on Tuesday to implement the sector’s tasks in 2013. He said: “It’s necessary to develop a strong audit sector which is well aware of its responsibility and tasks. It’s also important to strengthen the organization of the sector to ensure that its administration handles work scientifically using modern tools. The auditors should be capable and transparent.”

This year, the audit sector will work on the master plan on economic restructuring, public investment, government bond utilization, and the management of state funding and assets in enterprises and commercial banks.
