Australia issues new flood warning
(VOVWORLD) - Heavy rain continued to ravage Australia’s northeast Tuesday, prompting the authorities to warn of further flash flooding.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison toured the region affected by floods and ordered recovery measures.
Australia’s north has never seen such devastating flood in a century. In hard-hit Townsville of Queensland State, more than 650 people have been evacuated from their homes and about 11,000 houses remained without power Tuesday. Around 9,000 more have asked for help.
