(VOVWORLD) - Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will pay an official visit to Vietnam on Saturday and Sunday at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

He is scheduled to hold talks with PM Chinh and other senior Vietnamese leaders to promote bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, investment, education, climate, energy, and the environment.
This is Albanese’s first official visit to Vietnam. This year, Vietnam and Australia are celebrating 50 years of diplomatic ties.
