(VOVworld) – The Australia- Vietnam Deputy Ministerial Consultation Conference on Development Cooperation took place in Canberra on Friday.

At the event, the two sides discussed ways to upgrade the Australia-Vietnam Development Cooperation Program to Economic Partnership. The two sides will expand cooperation on the basis of ensuring mutual economic benefit, promote the dynamic development of the private sector, create opportunities to expand business and markets, empower women’s role in economics, and boost the environmentally friendly, sustainable growth. The two sides discussed the upgrading of the current Deputy Ministerial Consultation Conference on Development Cooperation to the Ministerial level.
