(VOVworld) Thousands of books will be on display at the Autumn Book Fair 2014, which opens at the Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi on October 8.

The 5-day event aims to honor and promote the traditional values of the reading culture, create a friendly environment for book lovers to gather and exchange opinions, and allow publishers to introduce new books.

The fair will feature a number of invaluable books about Hanoi and features many other activities such as discussions with well-known Vietnamese authors and translators, and seminars to educate young people about social responsibility and humanitarian values.
