Aviation security control tightened for National Party Congress
(VOVWORLD) - The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) on Thursday requested aviation security control be raised to Level 1 before, during, and after the 13th National Party Congress.

Aviation security control measures will be enhanced at all units in the sector, including airports, aviation service providers, Vietnamese airlines, and foreign carriers operating in Vietnam.
In particular, security control measures will be applied such as more visual inspection, more random checks, and more screening for explosive devices to ensure absolute aviation security and safety for the Congress scheduled to take place from January 25 to February 2.
