(VOVworld) – Nhan Dan, the People’s daily newspaper has announced the winners of a contest on “Following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”. At a press conference on Monday, the organizing board said 19 top works had been selected from 1,000 entries to receive awards at a ceremony on May 14.
The organizing board said the contest drew the participation of professional and amateur, Vietnamese and foreign writers. The people featured in their stories are role models in the campaign to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. They are party members and local leaders who are devoted to their work and have great influence in the community.
The newspaper will launch the 4th contest of its kind under the theme “fighting individualism, actions matching words, and doing everything for nation’s benefit”.
