(VOV/VOVworld)- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Photographers’ Association held a ceremony yesterday to present awards for its photo contest on Vietnamese sea and islands. The entries feature the lives of Vietnamese border and island soldiers and other images of Vietnam’s territorial waters. Dang Ngoc Thai,  Vice Chairman of the contest’s Arts Council says: "The photos captures the northern border area as well as Vietnamese sea and islands. The first prize-winning photo is of the big Truong Sa island. The photo shows Vietnamese people how big our island is and makes them love it more".
