(VOVWORLD) - Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province is broadcasting commercials on BBC World News in an effort to boost tourism.

Under the agreement, a 30-second video featuring the beauty of Ba Ria-Vung Tau will be screened on the BBC Global News channel for the Asia-Pacific region at intervals during peak hours 9:30 a.m to 5 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tran Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Department of Tourism, said: “Besides cooperation with provinces and cities nationwide to attract domestic tourists, we continue to work with foreign media, including CNN, to advertise the province’s tourism. We have compiled an overseas tourist promotion plan. We have also enhanced digital transformation in tourism.”
The broadcast will last two months from April 8 to June 2 to promote the beach province as a dynamic destination with blue seas, white sand and golden sunshine as well as its readiness to welcome tourists after a long period affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
