(VOVworld) – Adem Karadak, the main suspect in a bomb attack at Erawan shrine in Bangkok, said Thursday that he was promised he could go to Turkey if he put the bomb where it would injure as many tourists as possible.

Schoochart Kanpai, Karadak’s lawyer, has confirmed the story and said Karadak knows his crime will be severely punished and he hopes an honest confession will earn a reduced sentence.
Karadak, identified under the alternate name as Bilal Muhammed, confessed to carrying out the bomb attack at Erawan shrine under the order of another suspect called Abdullah Abdullahman.
