Better care for war invalids and martyrs’ families in Kien Giang
(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan urged Kien Giang province to better care for war invalids and families of the fallen soldiers while upgrading the local cemetery to the national level. Mr. Nhan made the remarks while working with Kien Giang provincial authorities on Saturday. Regarding Phu Quoc island’s development, Mr. Nhan also asked the local authorities to review and devise appropriate policies to preserve their forests and land.

Earlier, Mr. Nhan and his delegation burnt incense and paid tribute to martyrs at Phu Quoc district’s Cemetery, visited families of social beneficiary and the historical relic of Phu Quoc island’s prison.
