This is an annual event hosted by the Vietnam Red Cross Society. 300 staff members and volunteers of the Society, its affiliates, and partners have registered to donate their blood.
In response to a call by Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong to mark the 20th anniversary of the “All-people blood donation day” (April 7, 2000 - 2020), tens of thousands of donors have given 1.2 million blood units, almost sufficient for treatment across Vietnam.
