Boeing says it plans increased business in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam holds an important position and is a potential market in Boeing's business strategy and the US aircraft manufacturer will boost operations in Vietnam in the near future, says Steve Biegun, senior vice president of Global Public Policy for the Boeing Company.

Biegun met with Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien last week on the sidelines of the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministers Responsible for Trade Meeting and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) ministerial meeting in Detroit.
He outlined Boeing's three main goals in Vietnam: deepen commercial relations with airlines, cooperate in helicopters and transportation, and invest in developing a supply chain for aviation spare parts and equipment.
Minister Nguyen Hong Dien applauded Boeing’s desire to build a strategic cooperation relationship in the Vietnamese market and cooperate more closely with Vietnam in developing an aviation ecosystem.
