(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt has fulfilled its tasks of 2014 regardless recent complicated developments in Egypt, contributing to bolstering traditional ties between Vietnam and Egypt.

In an interview with the Vietnam News Agency on the occasion of the lunar New Year, Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Dao Thanh Chung said he and his staff will continue their best efforts in 2015 to deepen bilateral ties with Egypt to mark many important anniversaries of Vietnam this year. He said economic diplomacy will be a top priority for 2015 with a set of target of lifting two-way trade turnover to 450 million USD.
