(VOVworld) – The Hue Relics Preservation Center on Sunday opened a bonsai exhibition in Cơ Hạ garden in Hue City, featuring 400 bonsais of unique shapes, orchids, and dozens of calligraphies of the Nguyen Kings. Cơ Hạ was one of 5 royal gardens inside the Hue royal citadel, built by King Minh Mang in 1837. At the beginning of the 20^th century, due to poor maintenance, the Nguyen Kings closed the main architectural works.

Cơ Hạ garden attracted a large number of tourists on the first day of reopening. Visitors had a chance to enjoy the poetic charm of the Hue royal garden and discover the beauty of local bonsai art.
