A terrorist plot to attack four locations in Britain was foiled by the RAF. |
The RAF detected two foreign pilots discussing targets on their radios. The two pilots were using Arabic coded messages from the cockpits of their passenger planes to plan attacks on London, Bath, Brighton and Ipswich. One of the two pilots was flying for an airline on an intelligence service watchlist. The two pilots – who are believed to be IS sympathizers – used the emergency “Mayday” channel thinking they wouldn’t get caught.
