Britain hopes to address Trump's concerns about Iran nuclear deal
(VOVWORLD) -Britain’s ambassador to the US Kim Darroch said Sunday his country believes it’s still possible to allay President Trump’s concerns about the Iran nuclear deal in time to prevent him from pulling out of the agreement.

Darroch said Britain has ideas for answering those concerns which include Iran’s ballistic missile program and its involvement in Mideast conflicts, issues that aren’t part of the international agreement. Trump also objects to the accord’s sunset clause, which allows Iran to resume part of its nuclear program after 2025.
The Iranian government has criticized President Trump's threat to withdraw from the pact, saying Iran will not "renegotiate or add to" the accord.
French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that war could ensue if the US withdraws from the 2015 deal.
President Trump has until next Saturday to continue the deal or scrap it. He has repeatedly signaled that the arrangement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, does not benefit the US and should be amended. The deal loosens longtime economic sanctions on Tehran in exchange for Iran agreeing to limit its nuclear program.
