(VOVworld) – British Prime Minister David Cameron set June 23rd as date for historic poll on whether to stay in the EU. The poll will decide if Britain is “safer, stronger and better off” in a reformed EU or when it stands outside the bloc. Cameron said the cabinet formally agreed to campaign to stay in despite several ministers openly supporting Brexit.

The poll will be the 2nd in Britain on its status in the EU, after the first one in 1975 under the Labor Party’s ruling.
EU leaders showed their pleasures at a deal reached at the recent EU Summit in Brussels between Britain and the EU to keep Britain stay in the group.
