Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival to open on March 10
(VOVWORLD) -The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023, themed "Buon Ma Thuot - Destination of coffee worldwide", will take place in the city and several other localities in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on March 10, according to a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday.

The 5-day festival, the eighth edition, aims to promote the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand and develop Vietnam’s specialty coffee, towards gradually turning Buon Ma Thuot into a global coffee destination.
Truong Hoai Anh, Director of the provincial Information and Communications Department, said that this year’s festival affirms its scale and influence.
“We focus on communications. In addition to the traditional means of media, we pay attention to social networks which are usually used by young people to spread the coffee festivals domestically and internationally,” said Hoai Anh.
There will be some new activities including a video-making contest to promote Buon Ma Thuot coffee, a musical performance, a light festival, photo exhibitions, and a contest to make fine art from coffee trees.
