(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam will be the next stop of C asean Consonant, a regional ensemble which uses ASEAN’s traditional music as a tool to connect cultures and people in Southeast Asia.
C asean Consonant consists of 10 members who come from 10 ASEAN countries. |
The ensemble will perform at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi on Sunday, promising an unforgettable experience to the audience, according to the Academy’s Director Le Anh Tuan.
“C asean Consonant employs music as a bridge to connect people. Through music, 10 artists from 10 ASEAN countries with different cultures, religions, and languages have become members of a family. Sunday’s concert is more than a performance. It honors the ASEAN Community where people live in peace, harmony, and unity, which the world is in dire need at the moment,” said Mr. Tuan.
Before Vietnam, C asean Consonant performed in Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, and Indonesia.
