(VOVworld)- On Tuesday, a workshop to strengthen the campaign for mobilizing the people’s unity in rural development and urban civilization opened in Dong Thap province.

In his address, the President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan said the campaign was of great importance in implementing the Party and government resolutions on poverty reduction and new rural development. Participants at the workshop said the whole political system from the central to grassroots level needs to proactively lead the campaign.
