(VOVWORLD) - The Hanoi Opera Theatre hosted a grand musical performance to celebrate the National Day on September 2 with the participation of well-known singers.

Firework displays would take place in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday evening. The northern province of Yen Bai held a traditional market session in Mu Cang Chai while the Cultural Days take place in Moc Chau District, Son La province this week.
Deputy Chairwoman of the District People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Hoa: “The cultural days introduce unique cultural identities of local ethnic people to visitors. They have an opportunity to explore the local food and cultural shows and are expected to revisit Moc Chau more often.”
Da Nang City hosted the first international lion dance festival with 38 contestant teams at home and abroad participating. Nguyen Le Thanh Tay is from the festival’s organizing board: “The festival will feature a marathon competition on the water surface. This is a unique competition only available in China and Vietnam.”
