The Thua Thien-Hue Journalists’ Association on Monday presented the provincial press award 2017 to local news agencies and reporters. A football match between journalists of the central region was held on this occasion.

The Nam Dinh Journalists' Association presented its third provincial press award and reiterated code of ethics for reporters, journalists, and news agencies. Provincial Deputy Chairman Bach Ngoc Chien urged journalists to improve their professional knowledge and strictly abide by code of ethics.

At a ceremony in Hoa Binh province, 6 members of the Hoa Binh Journalists' Association received medals for the cause of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press. Similar activities were organized in Soc Trang province.
