Central agencies help flood victims
(VOVWORLD) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and staff of the Party Central Committee Office on Friday each donated one-day’s salary to support people affected by floods and landslides in the northern and central provinces.

The President Office on Friday also raised funds to help flood victims. President Tran Dai Quang and Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh were among members who donated to the fund.
The same day, the Government Office held a fund-raising ceremony to help local people in the flood-hit areas. The event was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his deputies.
National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and other legislators donated money to help affected locals.
Earlier on Friday morning, Party Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Chief Truong Thi Mai, called on the Commission’s staff to raise funds for the damaged areas.
