Children excited about Book Day activities in central Highlands
(VOVWORLD) -Exciting children’s activities around books and literature got under way over the weekend in the central Highlands city of Buon Ma Thuot, to mark the Day of Book and Reading Culture (April 21).

Children were introduced to a number of popular books including “Adventures of a Cricket" by To Hoai, which has been a close friend of multiple generations of Vietnamese people.
“This is the first time I’ve been to this book fair. I’ve met people who love books like me, and have gotten to know many good books. I also met some famous book authors and poets here and got to interact with them. It was a great opportunity for me,” said To Ngoc Khanh, a student at Dong Du High School in Buon Ma Thuot city.
The Organizing Committee also held a Lego assembly competition, an event around “To he” which are tiny figurines fashioned from colored rice dough, an Ede brocade weaving demonstration, and Spring Library bus visits.
