China tightens relations with neighboring countries
(VOVWORLD) -Chinese President Xi Jinping’s trip to Vietnam next week for a visit and to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Leaders' Week is his first trip after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Chinese officials told a press briefing on Friday.
Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Li Baodong said that China supports Vietnam's hosting of APEC Year 2017 and is committed to working closely with relevant parties to boost development and prosperity in the region and the world. He stressed that President Xi's state visits to Vietnam and Laos from November 12 to 14 will open a new chapter in China’s diplomacy with neighboring countries.
