China will provide COVID-19 vaccines to developing countries
(VOVWORLD) - China will prioritize providing COVID-19 vaccines to developing countries in Africa and Southeast Asia when they are available, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian Wednesday.

China will join COVAX to ensure developing countries access to vaccines and will encourage other developed countries to join COVAX, Zhao said. China has 4 vaccines in the 3rd stage of testing.
COVAX is co-led by Gavi, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation (CEPI) and WHO. Its aims is to accelerate the development and manufacture of COVID-19 vaccine and to guarantee fair and equitable access for every country in the world.
