China’s Communist Party discusses cabinet reshuffle

(VOVWORLD) - China’s Communist Party on Monday began a three-day meeting of its top officials to discuss deeper reform, and will also likely decide on some key posts ahead of a government reshuffle next month.

The Party Central Committee is expected to decide on the successor of Chinese State Bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan and the positions of State Councilor Yang Jiechi and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Senior Party members will also discuss a constitutional framework for a new anti-corruption body.
