China’s coronavirus-related pneumonia kills one
(VOVWORLD) - One patient with viral pneumonia has been confirmed dead in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, and seven others were in critical condition, the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission said Saturday.
The patients' condition and epidemic situation is currently controllable. A total of 739 close contacts, 419 of which are medical staff, have been placed under medical observation, the commission said.
No related cases have been found since last Friday. Municipal authorities have warned locals of precautionary measures, avoid crowded places, and quickly study the pathogen to design treatment regimen.
