China’s top legislator Zhao Leji to pay official visit to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday that Mr. Zhao Leji, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China will lead a high-ranking Party and State delegation on an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man.

During the visit, Mr. Zhao will attend celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, and will co-chair the first session of the Cooperation Committee between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People’s Congress of China.
The visit will take place from August 31 to September 2.
