(VOVworld) – Con Son-Kiep Bac relic site has welcomed more than 400,000 pilgrims since the first day of the Lunar New Year.

Nguyen Khac Minh, Head of the Organizing Board of the relic site, said that around 15,000 pilgrims visited Con Son-Kiep Bac a day. The 2014 Con Son-Kiep Bac spring festival includes an incense offering ritual, a worshipping ceremony on Ngu Nhac mountain, the anniversary of the death of Most Venerable Huyen Quang, as well as other cultural activities and folk games.

Apart from the Con Son festival, the Kiep Bac Temple Festival is organized annually from the 15^th to 20^th days of the eight lunar month to honor national hero Tran Hung Dao who was also called Saint Tran for his great contributions to the national liberation struggle in the 13^th century.
