Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, called for efforts to get overseas Vietnamese to contribute to their homeland.

“We welcome and appreciate the wisdom, sentiments, and passion of experts, scientists, and overseas Vietnamese intellectuals, who are contributing to national development. Hopefully, the Connecting Vietnam Innovation Network will become a forum for scientists here and abroad to boost cooperation and improve scientific research and training in Vietnam,” Mr. Chinh said.

The Network has attracted more than 100 overseas Vietnamese scientists. It will link overseas Vietnamese and domestic scientists to share their ideas for technological development in sectors Vietnam needs to accelerate.
