Cooking competition reinforces friendship among diplomats
(VOVWORLD) - 30 teams from foreign diplomatic missions in HCM city and Vietnamese agencies on Saturday joined a cooking contest designed to boost mutual understanding.
Nguyen Nguyet Nga, honorary Chair of the Hanoi-based ASEAN Community Women’s Group told VOV: “We call this event ‘culinary diplomacy’. Cuisine can serve as a bridge linking us with friends and partners.”
The French Consulate General won the first prize in the main courses category while the first prizes for appetizers and desserts went to the Estonian and Italian teams respectively.
